Highland Oaks Homes For Sale

Highland Oaks is an established residential subdivision inside the city of Burnet, laid out on interior streets and cul-de-sacs rather than through-traffic roads. It’s inland, no lake frontage, and it’s a standard residential neighborhood rather than a golf or acreage community, which tends to make it one of the more affordable subdivisions in town relative to Burnet’s newer golf-course and acreage developments.

What’s There

Highland Oaks was built out over time rather than in a single phase, so lot sizes and home ages vary more block to block than in a newer planned community. Some lots in the neighborhood run noticeably larger than others, and home styles range accordingly. It’s not a golf or lake community, it’s just a solid, established in-town neighborhood.

HOA

The Highland Oaks Improvement Association is registered with the Texas Real Estate Commission as a property owners association and is managed by Goodwin & Company. The published resale certificate fee is $375. Current annual assessment amounts aren’t publicly listed, so confirm the actual dues with the management company or through your title company during a transaction rather than assuming a number.

Location

Highland Oaks sits within Burnet proper, a short drive from the Hamilton Creek Riverwalk and the historic courthouse square downtown, and roughly 10 miles from both Inks Lake and Lake Buchanan if you want lake access without living directly on the water.

Other Burnet Communities

If you’re comparing options, Delaware Springs is Burnet’s golf-course community, and The Ranch at Delaware Creek is a newer acreage-lot development nearby. See the Burnet town page for the full picture of what living here looks like.
