Uncommon Highland Lakes Realty is the Highland Lakes division of Uncommon Realty, led by Robbie English. We work across ten towns in this region — Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Kingsland, Granite Shoals, Cottonwood Shores, Burnet, Sunrise Beach Village, Meadowlakes, Highland Haven, and Sherwood Shores — and we built our approach around a simple fact: this isn’t one market, it’s ten small, distinct ones that happen to sit around the same chain of lakes.
BURNET • COTTONWOOD SHORES • GRANITE SHOALS • HORSESHOE BAY • KINGSLAND • MARBLE FALLS

Why We Run a Dedicated Site for Each Town
You’ll notice we don’t funnel everyone through one generic “Highland Lakes real estate” page. Marble Falls, Horseshoe Bay, Kingsland, Granite Shoals, Cottonwood Shores, and Burnet each have their own site, because each town has its own HOA rules, dock and shoreline regulations, price points, and buyer profile. A waterfront lot on Lake LBJ in Kingsland doesn’t compare to a home a few miles inland in Burnet, and treating them the same would mean giving you worse information, not better.
What “Uncommon” Actually Means Here
Robbie English has spent more than 40 years in real estate, and since 2016 he’s worked as a national real estate instructor — teaching other agents and brokers about contracts, negotiation, agency relationships, ethics, pricing strategy, and broker responsibility. That’s a concrete difference from most local agents: the standards he teaches to other professionals are the same ones applied to every Highland Lakes client.
He holds the Texas Real Estate Broker’s license and a long list of advanced designations — ABR, GRI, CRB, C2EX, E-Pro, MRP, PSA, RENE, SRS, and more — several of which he’s also certified to teach. You can see the full credentials list on his profile page.

What Clients Actually Say
Rather than tell you how we operate, we’d rather you hear it from people who’ve closed with us. We keep our reviews unedited and sourced directly from Google — read them here.
Beyond a Single Transaction
Whether you’re buying a weekend place on the water, relocating here full-time, selling a longtime family property, or looking at an investment property, we treat it as the start of an ongoing relationship, not a one-time deal. A meaningful share of our business comes from past clients calling again years later, or sending a friend our way — that’s the outcome we’re actually building toward.
